My human is doing the sitting-in-the-car game and it is the LONGEST it has ever been! Usually we sit in the car and then we STOP sitting in the car and there is a park. But today we are just SITTING. So much sitting. I love sitting. I love the car.
There are SO MANY cars. A whole line of them, all being patient, all facing the same way like we are all going to the same wonderful place together! I bark hello to a dog in the next car. He is my best friend now. I will never see him again but that is okay because right now he is the BEST friend.
My human is making the honking sound. HONK! I love the honking sound. Then other humans do the honking sound back! It is a conversation! Everybody is talking! My human says a Bad Word very loud and hits the round thing and I understand completely: my human is SO excited to be here too.
Red lights. So many little red lights all in a row, going on and off, blinking, and I could watch them forever. My human keeps looking at the little clock and sighing and getting the sad face and I do not know what the clock did but I will protect my human from it.
Wait.
My human's hand.
My human's hand is coming toward the back seat and it is holding.
It is HOLDING SOMETHING.
A little chicken snack from the glovebox, for me, just for me, because we are here TOGETHER in the best car in the longest line, and this, THIS, is the greatest day of my entire life.
