My human has the JINGLE THINGS! The silver jingle things that live in the pocket and go clink clink clink when we walk and I LOVE the clink clink. The jingle things mean the DOOR. The jingle things mean OUTSIDE. Sometimes the jingle things mean the CAR and the car means the WINDOW and the window means the WIND on my whole face, the whole thing, the entire wind!
I hear the jingle before I see it. My ears go up. My whole back end goes! The jingle is the best sound. Better than the treat drawer? No. But CLOSE. Very close.
My human holds the jingle things up to the door and does a serious face and pushes and turns and the door OPENS. My human made the door open with the jingle things. My human can do ANYTHING. My human is the smartest human that has ever been made. I do not know how the jingle things open the door and I do not need to know. My human knows. That is enough. That is everything.
Sometimes the jingle things go and my human goes with them and I do not go. The door closes. I wait by the door. I wait. I wait.
And then! The jingle! CLINK CLINK CLINK! I hear it in the hall! My human is COMING BACK! My human always comes back! I knew it! I KNEW it!
